Our prices include your bed for the night, your bed linen and duvets, hot showers, a continental breakfast, and full use of all our facilities. Private rooms (singles and twins/doubles) also include free towels).
Avalon House is open 24 hours. You can arrive and leave at anytime of the day or night. However the rooms are not ready until 2.00pm when you first arrive as our housekeeping staff need time to clean your room/bed. If you arrive before 2.00pm, you can store your bags in our luggage storage/lockers and return to the hostel when your room is ready. When you are departing, check-out from the room is by 10.00 a.m.
As we are located so centrally there are numerous attractions within walking distance of the hostel. Some of the popular ones are the Guinness Brewery, Trinity College, Christchurch Cathedral, St. Patrick's Cathedral, St. Stephen's Green and the Jameson Distillery.
Free WiFi! We have 6 free internet terminals that any of our guests can use and we also have free WiFi access throughout the building.
