The Euro Youth Hotel and Krone in Bad Gastein opened it's doors for the first time in December 2002. The Hotel Krone has catered to visitors to the beautiful Spa Town and ski resort of Bad Gastein since the 1880's. In 2002 the current owners took over the 3 star hotel with the fantastic location and have since worked tirelessly to create one of the most luxurious hostels in Europe.

In 2006 the Euro Youth Hotel in Bad Gastein was selected to join it's sister house in Munich as one of 'Europe's Famous Hostels'.
